Maxine Bingham, founder and president, brings 20 years of global high-performance external relations and marketing communications expertise for tech companies, as well as for non profit organizations.
Her strategic and creative approaches to communications enables clients to achieve leadership mindshare with influential press, analysts and bloggers.
Prior to founding Agora Public Relations, Maxine held corporate positions at a number of technology companies, including Dun & Bradstreet Software and IBM.
Beginning her career in the data base industry, she has subsequently provided PR, AR and other marketing communications programs in a wide range of technologies including data center networking, Internet of Things, multichip modules, semiconductor design automation, ASICs, programmable ICs, cloud, analytics and Big Data, VoIP, data mining, security, fractal data compression, SaaS, PaaS, iPaaS and storage.
She has a B.A with departmental honors in Ancient Near Eastern History & Archaeology and an M.A. in Near Studies both from UC Berkeley.
A former board member of the Silicon Valley chapter of the BMA, Maxine has lectured widely in PR and marcom, as well as in her academic discipline. She curated the Brundage Collection of Iranian Art for the San Francisco Asian Art Museum, as well as curating a collection of Mesopotamian cylinder seals for the Lowie Museum of Anthropology.
She believes that her art and ancient language background makes her uniquely able to translate complex technologies into compelling narratives that reach - and intrigue - wide audiences.
